Recommended Reading: "The 36-Hour Day"

Dara is an avid reader.  Since she has started working with Seniors Helping Seniors, her reading focus has turned towards topics of interest to her senior care providers and our care receivers.  Alzheimer's is, unfortunately, a popular topic.

On this blog you will find some recommended titles and Dara looks forward to hearing and sharing your comments about them.

The 36-Hour Day – A Family Guide for Caring for Persons with Alzheimer’s Disease, Relating Dementing Illnesses and Memory Loss Later in Life

by Nancy Mace and Peter Rabins

This book is considered the “bible” for those caring for someone with Alzheimer’s.  I actually think I saw a used copy at Share & Care where Grace likes to frequent.  You should also be able to find it at the library as well.
